Freelance book editor + blogger
Hi, reader! I’m Mollie. I’ve talked books on the internet since 2014 and, spoiler, I love it.
Book blogging is like my digital reading journal.
Here, you’ll find book reviews, reading lists, reader lifestyle content, author interviews, and the nitty gritty behind the editing and publishing process.
I love helping readers find their next great book, and I’m all about helping you start the book club of your dreams.
If you’re interested in editing, make sure to check out my guide on how to become a book editor.
Work with me
For a decade, I’ve worked with traditional publishers, editorial agencies, independent authors, and businesses on a variety of editorial projects—from proofreading, copyediting, and substantive editing to story evaluation and editorial project management services.
If you want an encouraging and meticulous editor with Big Five editing experience, I just may be your gal! Check out my editing services and request a quote to see if we’d be a good fit!
I offer free sample edits to evaluate the level of editing needed before creating a fixed-rate quote. Not sure what type of editing you’re looking for? Let’s figure it out together. Send me an email at hello[at]molliereads[dot]com.

Read with me
My BFF Katie and I have a virtual book club, and we’d love for you to join us! 🎉 If you’re someone who loves good books and gushing about them with your friends—likely with a margarita in hand—you will feel right at home.
We are literary and historical fiction leaning, but all types of readers are welcome. We don’t limit ourselves to a category or genre.
We follow a buzzy/backlist format, meaning we read many “buzzy” or new(ish) releases as well as a handful of backlist books that have been published for at least a year.
For $5 a month, here’s what you can expect:
- Virtual meetups after every book
- Curated book club discussion questions
- Cozy reading nights
- Occasional author interviews
- Live chats and polls throughout the month
If this sounds like your cup of tea, I hope you’ll join us. Happy reading! 😊
